Leopard Trophy Hunting in 2016

The Scientific Authority has advised the Department of Environmental Affairs that evidence suggests that the trophy hunting of leopard in South Africa is contributing to local leopard population declines. As a result, there will be no trophy hunting of leopard in South Africa during 2016.
